Learn about Remodlr

Built from real construction operations and field experience

Remodlr was built from real construction operations and a simple belief: projects run better when scope is clear, structured, and shared. Our platform helps homeowners, professionals, and connected systems work from the same project foundation.

Founder Story

Why I built Remodlr

My name is Patrick Martin, and I built Remodlr after years of working inside construction and seeing how much confusion, waste, and mistrust can come from one core issue: scope is rarely structured well enough to stay clear from beginning to end for all stakeholders.

I went on to build multiple construction companies, including Mid-Atlantic Remodeling Company, and served as active CEO while the business processed more than $27 million over four years. That experience taught me how easily project information breaks apart across stakeholders, estimates, proposals, change events, procurement, and closeout.

The bigger the job or team, the more expensive that breakdown becomes. Remodlr came from a simple conviction: construction does not need more noise. It needs more structure, more clarity, and better systems for keeping everyone aligned.

Built in the field

Remodlr comes from real construction operations, not theory.

Built with systems in mind

The goal was never more paperwork. It was better structure.

The Problem

Construction doesn't lack information.
It lacks structural consistency in scope.

Construction runs on documentation, but construction documentation is often not a system.

Scope is still managed as narrative text — rewritten instead of versioned, drifting across stakeholders, and changing across estimates, proposals, contracts, change events, procurement records, and closeout packages.

That instability creates revision churn, hidden assumptions, pricing confusion, procurement mistakes, delayed closeout, and unnecessary dispute. For customers, it makes scope, pricing, warranties, and responsibilities harder to understand. For providers, it dilutes code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards along the path.

That is the problem Remodlr was built to solve.

Narrative scope drifts

When scope lives as narrative text across siloed systems, it gets rewritten and disconnected from the job.

Structure needs intelligence

Teams need governed scope and an intelligence layer that carries standards and requirements forward.

Built In Practice

The system was shaped by real construction work.

Remodlr came from building inside construction — leading teams, running projects, and seeing how where friction occured for all stakeholders and how quickly scope, pricing, and documentation can break down without stronger structure.

The system was shaped by real field conditions, real accountability, and real pressure to keep projects aligned.

Built from real project data

Remodlr comes from real construction execution, not abstract software theory.

Shaped by real project pressure

The system was informed by the realities of pricing, revisions, documentation, and accountability in live projects.
